It is my great pleasure, as President of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders, to warmly welcome you to the 34th IALP World Congress, taking place from 20 to 24 August 2028 in the magnificent city of Prague. The congress will be organized by the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) in collaboration with the Association of Speech-Language Pathologists of the Czech Republic (AKL ČR).

On behalf of the Local Organizing Committee – the Association of Speech-Language Pathologists of the Czech Republic (AKL ČR), it is our distinct privilege and pleasure to welcome you to the official website of the 34th World Congress of the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP 2028), due to be held in the breathtaking city of Prague, Czech Republic, from 20 to 24 August 2028.
It is an immense honor for us to collaborate closely with the International Association of Communication Sciences and Disorders (IALP) on this prestigious event. We are fully committed to being an exceptional partner both to the IALP and to its esteemed President, Prof. Tamer Abou-Elsaad, MD, PhD (Professor of Phoniatrics, Faculty of Medicine, Mansoura University, Egypt). Together, we aim to deliver a congress that fosters global professional growth and strengthens our international community.
Prague has a deep-rooted tradition in the field of communication and hearing sciences. Following the successful events in 1930 and 1989, IALP 2028 marks the first time since 1990 that this prestigious world congress returns to the heart of Europe.
